The supposed ‘humble’ move of Bollywood diva Kriti Sanon at the trailer launch of her upcoming film ‘Adipurush’ got tagged as a ‘publicity stunt’ by netizens.
After a much-disappointing teaser, the makers of the mega-budgeted pan-Indian film ‘Adipurush’ unveiled the trailer of the film in a star-studded event earlier this week.

A widely-circulated video from the event, shared by an Indian paparazzo account, sees the female lead of the title, Sanon, sitting on the floor of the theatre during the launch of the trailer, as there was no space available. Sharing the clip, the OP praised the Bollywood diva for her ‘down to earth’ behaviour.
However, social users have a contrary opinion of the incident as they believe that it was more of a ‘gimmick’ rather than a humble attitude from the actor.
Reacting to the paparazzi clip, an Instagrammer wrote, “Down to earth ka matlab zameen pe baithna nhi hota (Down to earth does not mean sitting on the floor),” while another commented, “Its called smart move. Seat nahi mili toh niche beth gayi nahi to handsake wala same popat hota (There was no seat so she sat on the floor to avoid embarrassment).”
“Nobody is giving up their seat so she just sat down,” a third reiterated.
A fourth opined, “Koi down to earth nhi bhai sab dikhawa hai (Not down to earth, it is all showoff).”

Meanwhile, ‘Adipurush’is slated to hit theatres (IMAX and 3D) on June 16, 2023, in Hindi and Telugu.
The title stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh. Om Raut penned and directed the project, and also contributed to a massive INR500 crore budget along with Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-series, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair.
